We have done this for three days and we have nine wins each day. That is a really good start. Only six games today so we can’t win nine, but we are going to try and go undefeated. Let’s get to the picks!

April 4th Picks:

Detroit at New York Mets (Game 1): After rainouts the last two days, are pick in this one is the same. The Tigers are 4-0. The Mets are 0-4. Say no more. Pick: Detroit

Detroit at New York Mets (Game 2): We don’t think the Tigers are going to sweep the doubleheader. Neither starting pitcher is very good in the second game, but the Mets have to win one right? We are going with game two, and they hand the Tigers their first loss in the process. Pick: New York Mets

Pittsburgh at Washington: Josiah Gray is pitching for the Nationals today. He is talented, but he is prone to giving up the long ball. We think that continues today and the Pirates get back in the win column. Pick: Pittsburgh

Cleveland at Minnesota: The two American League Central rivals square off for the first time this season, with Pablo Lopez and the Twins hosting Tanner Bibee and the Guardians. Give us the better pitcher in this matchup, which is definitely Lopez. Twins win. Pick: Minnesota

Miami at St. Louis: We picked the Marlins in all three games against the Angels and they got swept. Now they go on the road for the first time to face a very average Cardinals team. Average is still better than what the Marlins are currently doing, so we will take the Cardinals here. Pick: St. Louis

Chicago White Sox at Kansas City: Mike Soroka continues his comeback tour for the White Sox and they go on the road to face the Royals. His first start against Detroit wasn’t great, but we think he will turn it around today and help the White Sox get back in the win column. Pick: White Sox

Happy picking everyone!
