February 19, 2021 Picks:

College Basketball:

Their are no games involving ranked teams in College Basketball today.

NBA:

Golden State (-4) at Orlando - Golden State comes into this game having won four out of its last five games, and the big reason is the play of Stephen Curry. Curry is averaging 30 points a game this season to help the Warriors stay in the thick of the Western Conference playoff hunt. We think the hot play of Curry will continue and the Warriors will cover the spread. Pick: Golden State 116 Orlando 105

Denver (-8.5) at Cleveland - Cleveland has lost eight games in a row, and now plays host to a Denver team that has dropped two straight of their own. After the Nuggets game against the Wizards a couple nights ago, we don’t think they should be favored by this much. We like Denver to get the win, but Cleveland to cover the spread. Pick: Denver 111 Cleveland 106

Chicago at Philadelphia (-8) - Even though the Bulls are just 12-15 this season, their is something about this team that is fun to watch. You have Coby White flying around like a monkey drinking Rockstar, and Zach LaVine scoring from anywhere on the court. This is another game where we are picking the favorite to win but the underdog to cover. Pick: Philadelphia 119 Chicago 113

Atlanta at Boston (-4) - These two teams played two nights ago with the Hawks getting the 122-114 win over the Celtics. We don’t think Boston will lose two in a row to Atlanta. Give us the Celtics to win this game comfortably and earn the split of the two games against the Hawks. Pick: Boston 113 Atlanta 104

Detroit at Memphis (-4.5) - Detroit is playing its best basketball of the season now that they sent Blake Griffin home. They have won two out of their last three games since benching Griffin, and now head to Memphis to face a Grizzlies team that has alternated wins and losses its last five games. Give us the Pistons to not only cover, but get the win. Pick: Detroit 112 Memphis 108

Oklahoma City at Milwaukee (-10.5) - Milwaukee has lost five games in a row, is playing the second night of back to back games, and faces a Thunder team that gets after you defensively. That is not a good recipe for a double digit win. We think the Bucks will win this game, but it will be close. Pick: Milwaukee 114 Oklahoma City 111

Phoenix (-3.5) at New Orleans - This is the third matchup this season between the Suns and Pelicans. Both games have been decided by at least 20 points, and each team has gotten a win on its home floor. We don’t think New Orleans is going to win by 20, but we do think they will win this game. Pick: New Orleans 117 Phoenix 112

Toronto (-2.5) at Minnesota - Toronto has won two straight games over Milwaukee, and now finds themselves only a 2.5 point favorite against the worst team in the Western Conference? This has all the makings of a Raptors blowout, so we will gladly give you the points. Pick: Toronto 116 Minnesota 102

Utah (-4) at Los Angeles Clippers - These two teams meet for the second time in three days, and once again the Clippers are missing Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. This is an easy pick for us again, as we are riding the hot hand of the Utah Jazz. Pick: Utah 122 Los Angeles Clippers 108

Happy picking everyone!
