Just four NBA games today, so the sports action is lite. We have to get going with our picks. It starts today!

NBA:

Detroit at Washington (-5.5):

The young guns for the Pistons have been fun to watch so far. Jaden Ivey looks like the real deal for Detroit, and we know what Cade Cunningham can do. This team is starting to come together, and we like them to get the win over the Wizards in Washington. Pick: Detroit 122 Washington 115

Dallas (-4) at New Orleans:

Neither Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram are 100 percent healthy. In fact, it doesn’t look like either one will play. With that, give us the Mavericks to cover this four point spread easy. Pick: Dallas 128 New Orleans 110

Los Angeles Clippers (-9.5) at Oklahoma City:

The only bright spot for the Thunder so far, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, is missing this game with a hip injury. Paul George is also missing this game for the Clippers, so expect more Kawhi Leonard. With these two guys healthy we would have gone with the Thunder covering, and since we consider this almost a wash, we are are still going to go with Oklahoma City to lose by single digits. Pick: Los Angeles Clippers 116 Oklahoma City 108

Golden State at Phoenix (-1.5):

Both teams are relatively healthy coming into this game. They both are coming off wins on Sunday, so we have a lot to like with both teams. We think the Warriors are more talented than the Suns, and even though this game is in Phoenix, we will go with the underdogs. Pick: Golden State 124 Phoenix 120

Happy picking everyone!
