Our Top Ten Super Bowl Prop Bets:

This is one of our favorite things about the Super Bowl. You can literally bet on anything. We have picked a few of our favorite prop bets and we will predict what we think will happen. Let’s take a look!

National Anthem (Over/under 1 minute 59 seconds): This is one of our favorite Prop Bets. Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church are singing the National Anthem before the game starts, and this is the first time a duet is singing the National Anthem since 2006. With duets you tend to have the singers harmonize with each other, which can make the song longer. Pick: Over 1 minute 59 seconds

Coin Toss: Obviously this is a 50/50 chance. You either have heads or tails. Six of the last seven tosses at the Super Bowl have been tails. Some will say heads is due. Not us. We feel in our bones that “tails never fails” will come true here. Pick: Tails

How many commercials will have a dog in them? (Over/under 4.5): Some of the best commercials in Super Bowl history involve dogs. From all the Budweiser commercials involving dogs and horses, this could hit the over pretty quickly. Since Budweiser has already said they won’t have any commercials this year for their flagship product, that his a huge hit to the over. Pick: Under 4.5 commercials with dogs in them

What will be mentioned first? Tom Brady’s age or Tom Brady’s 10th Super Bowl: This is why the Super Bowl is so fun. In no other game would their be prop bets like this. Our guess is that they will be mentioned in the same sentence with age appearing first. Pick: Tom Brady’s age

What will be the first scoring play?: This is one of the more popular bets to put money on. Will it be a Tampa Bay touchdown or field goal, Kansas City touchdown or field goal, or a safety. We are saying below we don’t think there will be a safety in this game, so that’s out. We think the Chiefs are gong to score first, and it will be a field goal. Pick: Chiefs field goal

Who scores the first touchdown?: This is always the most popular bet for the Super Bowl. Right now the favorites are Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Mike Evans all at six to one. Last year the first touchdown was a run by Mahomes, which was twenty two to one. We think the first touchdown will be by Tampa Bay, and it will be by a running back. Pick: Leonard Fournette scores the first touchdown

What song will The Weeknd sing first: You may have heard that The Weeknd is the halftime entertainment. What will his opening song by? It seems like the favorites are Starboy, Call out my name, and Can’t Feel My Face. We are going to with none of those. Pick: Blinding Lights

Tom Brady rushing yards (Over/under 0.5 yards): This line is hilarious to us. If Tom Brady gets a single rushing yard, then this bet hits. We know he likes running QB sneaks from the one yard line, and he might have to scramble a bit facing that Chiefs pass rush. Give us the over, and we also predict it will be on a QB sneak for a touchdown. Pick: Over 0.5 yards

Will this game have a safety: One of the favorite bets of Super Bowl bettors is that there will be a safety. There are usually long odds for this, but when it happens it pays off nicely. There have been nine safeties in the previous 54 Super Bowls, with the last one coming in 2014 between the Seahawks and Broncos. If you recall, that was also on the first play of the game. We think the trend continues and their will not have a safety. Pick: No Safety

Color of liquid poured on the winning coach: This Prop Bet has a lot of different choices, but when Kansas City won last year, Andy Reid got a bath with Orange Gatorade. Being that Tampa Bay’s colors are orange and white, and orange has been the most common color dumped on coaches, we are saying it will be orange again. Pick: Orange

Enjoy the game everyone!
